- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup tahini or almond butter
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pistachios)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (optional for a chocolate twist)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the almond flour, shredded coconut, ground flaxseed, cinnamon, and sea salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the tahini, water, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- If using cocoa powder, incorporate it into the wet mixture.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring until thoroughly blended. Adjust the consistency with more water if too dry.
- Gently fold in the chopped nuts.
- Shape the mixture into small balls, roughly 1 inch in diameter, and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate the balls for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow them to set.
- Store the bliss balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
