Description

A delicious low-carb appetizer featuring creamy Brie cheese wrapped in a keto-friendly crust.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Brie cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and olive oil together.
  4. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  5. Take a piece of parchment paper and roll out the dough into a circle large enough to wrap around the Brie.
  6. Place the Brie in the center of the dough. Fold the edges of the dough over the Brie, pinching to seal it completely.
  7. Transfer the wrapped Brie onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • For a sweeter variation, consider adding a low-carb fruit preserve on top of the Brie before wrapping it.
