Instructions
- Begin by heating your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you’re using wooden skewers, remember to soak them in water for about 30 minutes to avoid burning during cooking.
- In a spacious mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Moroccan spice blend, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until everything is well combined.
- Introduce the chicken pieces into the marinade, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a deeper flavor infusion.
- Once marinated, skewer the chicken pieces along with the bell peppers and red onion, alternating them for a colorful presentation.
- Arrange the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- For a delightful char, switch to broil mode for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
