A refreshing and unique drink that combines the zesty flavor of lemon with the intriguing addition of activated charcoal.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup agave syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon activated charcoal powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and agave syrup (or honey). Stir well until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
- Add the cooled water to the pitcher and mix thoroughly.
- Stir in the activated charcoal powder and sea salt until well combined. The mixture will turn a deep black color.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
Notes
- For a sparkling version, replace half of the water with sparkling water just before serving.
- Add a few fresh berries or a splash of fruit juice for a colorful twist and extra flavor.
