			- 4 fillets salmon
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Place salmon in the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
- Flip the salmon and add butter to the pan, basting the salmon as it cooks for another 4-5 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and dill.
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and drizzle the lemon dill sauce over it before serving.
Notes
- This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or rice.
- Adjust the level of creaminess by varying the amount of heavy cream used.
- Fresh dill is best for flavor, but dried dill can be used in a pinch.
