Description

A deliciously rich and creamy salmon recipe that is quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets salmon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Place salmon in the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Flip the salmon and add butter to the pan, basting the salmon as it cooks for another 4-5 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and dill.
  6. Remove the salmon from the skillet and drizzle the lemon dill sauce over it before serving.

Notes

  • This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or rice.
  • Adjust the level of creaminess by varying the amount of heavy cream used.
  • Fresh dill is best for flavor, but dried dill can be used in a pinch.
