- 1 1/4 cups unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups raisins or pecans (optional)
- 1 package pre-made tart shells
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- If desired, fold in raisins or pecans.
- Arrange tart shells on a baking sheet.
- Pour the filling into each tart shell, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the filling is set and the tops are golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For a more adventurous taste, try adding a splash of maple syrup to the filling.
- Store leftover tarts in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
