Description

A delicious combination of crunchy celery root, smoky duck, and a tangy remoulade dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large celery root
  • 2 smoked duck breasts
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon capers, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Peel and julienne the celery root.
  2. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, capers, parsley, salt, and pepper to make the remoulade dressing.
  3. Toss the celery root with the remoulade dressing.
  4. Slice the smoked duck and serve on top of the dressed celery root.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the dressed celery root sit for 30 minutes before serving.
  • Smoked chicken can be used as an alternative to smoked duck.
