  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and diced jalapeƱos to the dry ingredients, and toss to coat.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and egg until well combined.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
  6. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
