Description
A deliciously creamy and cheesy cauliflower gratin topped with Gruyère cheese, perfect as a side dish or a main course.

			- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 10 minutes.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper, and bring to a simmer.
- Add half of the grated Gruyère cheese and stir until melted.
- In a baking dish, combine steamed cauliflower and cheese sauce. Mix well.
- Top with remaining Gruyère and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs such as thyme or parsley.
- Substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
