- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions and cook until translucent. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until tender.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until sauce thickens, then mix in the Parmesan cheese.
- Stir in the cooked bacon and heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional thyme if desired.
