Description

A delicious and creamy mushroom and bacon skillet dish, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add onions and cook until translucent. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until tender.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook until sauce thickens, then mix in the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Stir in the cooked bacon and heat through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional thyme if desired.
