- 4 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in sauerkraut and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and caraway seeds; season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for an additional 5 minutes before serving.
