- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg, whisked
- Optional Add-Ins:
- ½ tsp dried dill
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- ¼ cup bacon bits
- 1 tbsp chopped jalapeños
- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pickles, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Add the whisked egg to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
- If desired, mix in any optional add-ins for extra flavor.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- Place the pickle balls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching.
- Cook for 8 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a different flavor profile, try adding a teaspoon of smoked paprika for a smoky taste.
- If you prefer a crunchier texture, you can roll the pickle balls in crushed pork rinds before air frying.
