Crispy Jalapeño Popper Bites are a delicious and irresistible appetizer that combines the heat of jalapeños with a creamy cheese filling and a crispy coating.

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 12 jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- In another bowl, beat the egg. Add the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling generously.
- Dip each stuffed jalapeño into the egg mixture, then roll in the almond flour mixture to coat. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top of each jalapeño popper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, try mixing in some diced green onions or a splash of hot sauce into the cheese filling.
- You can also substitute the bacon with cooked sausage for a different taste.
