Description

A creamy and delicious shrimp chowder that’s easy to make and full of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Add onion and celery; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer until potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in cream, shrimp, and Old Bay seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, then serve.
