- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
- These meatballs can be served over spaghetti or as a standalone appetizer.
- Leftover meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
