Description

A quick and easy recipe for garlic butter shrimp and asparagus that is loaded with flavor and ready in just 20 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the shrimp and asparagus to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Serve over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
  • You can substitute the shrimp with chicken if preferred.
