Description

A delicious German Chocolate Pie made with chocolate, coconut, and pecans.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate wafer cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 large eggs


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed chocolate wafer cookies and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, and condensed milk.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips, coconut, pecans, and eggs until well combined.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh coconut and high-quality chocolate.
