Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  2. Place the sliced flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the steak. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
  5. Cook the steak strips in the grill pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
