Description

Deliciously tender kangaroo steak coated with a crunchy macadamia nut crust.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 kangaroo steaks
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, crushed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed macadamia nuts and breadcrumbs.
  3. Season the kangaroo steaks with salt and pepper.
  4. Dip each steak in the beaten egg, then coat in the macadamia mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Sear each steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
  7. Transfer the steaks to a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
