Description

Deliciously crispy chicken skins marinated in kefir for a tangy flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup kefir
  • 2 pounds chicken skins
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • Vegetable oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix kefir, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Add chicken skins to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Remove chicken skins from the marinade and let excess drip off.
  4. In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the chicken skins in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and season with additional salt if desired.
  7. Serve hot as a snack or appetizer.

  • For extra crunch, double fry the chicken skins.
