Description

A delicious and healthy Keto-friendly dessert option featuring apples and cottage cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sweetener of choice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, eggs, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the sliced apples and cinnamon to the mixture, and fold gently.
  4. Stir in the almond flour and mix until well combined.
  5. If using, fold in walnuts for extra crunch.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and golden on top.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
