Description

Keto Baked Brie with Crust is a delicious and elegant appetizer that combines creamy Brie cheese with a crunchy almond flour crust, perfect for a keto lifestyle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces of Brie cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove the Brie cheese from its packaging and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well, then add melted butter and beaten egg. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on parchment paper into a circle large enough to wrap around the Brie. Place the Brie in the center and fold the dough over to seal it.
  5. Transfer the wrapped Brie to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • Check the freshness of the Brie cheese before use.
  • Monitor baking time closely to avoid overcooking.
  • Let the baked Brie cool slightly before serving for easier slicing.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
