Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup of flaked tuna (canned or freshly cooked)
  • 1 tablespoon of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of whole grain mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small cucumber, cut into thin rounds
  • 1 medium tomato, cut into rounds
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Mash the ripe avocados in a bowl until creamy.
  2. Stir in lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix flaked tuna with Greek yogurt, whole grain mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Spread half of the avocado mixture evenly across the base of a serving platter or individual bowls.
  5. Arrange cucumber slices on top, followed by tomato slices.
  6. Evenly distribute the tuna mixture over the tomatoes.
  7. Spread the remaining avocado mixture over the tuna layer, smoothing it out.
  8. Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top if desired.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

  • For a spicier kick, consider adding diced jalapeƱos to the tuna mixture.
