- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and sour cream until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped green onions.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, forming about 12 biscuits.
- Sprinkle a pinch of paprika on top of each biscuit for added flavor and color.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
