Description

Delicious Keto Cheddar Biscuits inspired by Red Lobster, perfect for a low-carb diet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and sour cream until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped green onions.
  6. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, forming about 12 biscuits.
  7. Sprinkle a pinch of paprika on top of each biscuit for added flavor and color.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in cooked bacon bits or herbs like rosemary or thyme.
  • These biscuits can be served with a side of garlic butter for dipping.
