  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, rose water, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. In the last few minutes of cooking, sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the skewers, allowing them to toast slightly.
