Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine miso paste, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Mix until smooth.
  2. Add the salmon pieces to the bowl and gently toss to coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Arrange the marinated salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more chili garlic sauce or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
