- 1 medium head of cabbage, cut into wedges
- 4 cups beef broth

- 3 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Place the corned beef brisket into the pot and cover with beef broth.
- Add black peppercorns, bay leaves, and mustard seeds.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for about 3 hours, or until tender.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the cabbage wedges to the pot.
- Once everything is cooked through, remove the corned beef and cabbage from the pot and let the meat rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the sliced corned beef with cabbage on the side.
