  • 4 large eggs (for the filling)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or diced ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, melted butter, 1 egg, and salt to prepare the crust. Press into a 9-inch pie pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together heavy cream, 4 eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper until frothy.
  4. Stir in shredded cheese, cooked bacon or ham, and chopped spinach into the egg mixture.
  5. Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust and bake for 30-35 minutes until set and golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
