Description

A delicious keto-friendly recipe for fried sliced mushrooms served with ranch dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing for serving


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. Dip each sliced mushroom in the egg, then in the almond flour mixture, coating well.
  4. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Fry the mushrooms in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with ranch dressing.

Notes

  • Adjust the spices to taste.
  • For extra crunch, you can double dip the mushrooms.
