			- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup crispy onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, blanch green beans for 5 minutes, then drain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the blanched green beans and half of the cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese and crispy onions.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the casserole is bubbling and the onions are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Feel free to add other veggies like mushrooms or bell peppers for more flavor.
