Description

A delicious low-carb green bean casserole topped with crispy onions, perfect for holiday meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup crispy onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, blanch green beans for 5 minutes, then drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the blanched green beans and half of the cheddar cheese to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese and crispy onions.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the casserole is bubbling and the onions are golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
