Description
A simple and tasty recipe for making Keto Kale Chips that are crispy and flavorful.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large bunches of kale
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Wash the kale thoroughly and dry it completely using a salad spinner or by patting it with paper towels. Remove the tough stems and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the kale pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss well to ensure all the kale is evenly coated.
- Spread the kale in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets, making sure not to overcrowd them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the kale is crispy and slightly browned. Check frequently to avoid burning.
- Remove the chips from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a cheesy flavor, sprinkle nutritional yeast over the kale before baking.
- Experiment with different spices like cumin or curry powder for a unique twist on the flavor.
