Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, cream cheese, and water until smooth. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into four portions, roll each into a ball, and flatten into discs about ½ inch thick. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. While baking, melt butter in a saucepan, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant. Stir in parsley if using.
- Brush the warm naan with the garlic butter immediately after baking and serve warm.
Notes
- Ensure your oven is preheated for a good rise.
- The dough should be slightly sticky; adjust with water or almond flour as needed.
- Keep naan thickness uniform for even cooking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
