- 4 bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef.
- Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; mix well.
- Stir in mozzarella cheese and chopped pepperoni.
- Stuff the mixture into the peppers and place them in a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the peppers are tender.
- Top with additional cheese if desired, and bake for an extra 5 minutes.
