Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef.
  4. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; mix well.
  5. Stir in mozzarella cheese and chopped pepperoni.
  6. Stuff the mixture into the peppers and place them in a baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the peppers are tender.
  8. Top with additional cheese if desired, and bake for an extra 5 minutes.
