Keto Seaweed Sesame Snack Bites are a healthy and delicious treat that fits perfectly into a keto diet.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups roasted seaweed snacks, crumbled
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crumbled seaweed snacks, almond flour, sesame seeds, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil and the egg until fully combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms. If the mixture is too crumbly, add a little more melted coconut oil.
  5. Using your hands, form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each ball.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  7. Allow the bites to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  • Try substituting the Parmesan cheese with nutritional yeast for a dairy-free option.
