- 2 large cucumbers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz smoked salmon
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cut each cucumber in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds to create a little boat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, smoked salmon, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Fill the cucumber boats with the cream cheese mixture.
- Slice the filled cucumbers into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- For a garnish, you can add extra dill or capers on top of each cucumber heart.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
