Description

A decadent and creamy keto-friendly dessert featuring rich white chocolate and a hint of nutmeg.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 3 tablespoons erythritol or preferred sweetener
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to steam. Remove from heat and add the chopped white chocolate, stirring until melted and smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form, then gradually add the erythritol while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold the egg whites gently into the white chocolate mixture, taking care not to deflate the mixture.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and nutmeg, gently folding until combined.
  5. Transfer the mousse to serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to use sugar-free white chocolate to keep the recipe keto-friendly.
  • For an added touch, sprinkle some extra nutmeg on top before serving.
