Instructions

  1. Begin by placing the yuca pieces in a sizable pot and filling it with water until the yuca is fully submerged.
  2. Heat over medium-high until it reaches a rolling boil.
  3. Allow it to simmer for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the yuca is tender enough to be easily pierced with a fork.
  4. Once cooked, drain the yuca and set it aside to cool slightly.
  5. When it’s manageable, carefully extract the tough core from each piece.
