- 2 tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon gochujang
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, gochujang, and sesame seeds.
- Marinate tuna steaks in the mixture for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove tuna from the marinade and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, allowing the outside to get a nice crust.
- Garnish with chopped green onion before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier flavor, increase the amount of gochujang.
- This dish pairs well with steamed rice or a fresh salad.
