- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cauliflower rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
- 1 cup spinach (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in cauliflower rice, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- If using, add diced bell peppers and spinach, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
- In a separate bowl, mix heavy cream and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the cream mixture over the beef and vegetable mixture in the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Transfer everything to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in some cooked bacon or sausage.
- You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
