Ingredients

- 8 ounces dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup erythritol
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
- Add the erythritol, salt, and vanilla extract to the melted chocolate and mix well.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Fold in the cocoa powder until fully incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Dust with additional cocoa powder or serve with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- This torte can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- For a richer flavor, use higher cocoa content chocolate.
