Description

A rich and decadent flourless chocolate torte that is low in carbs and perfect for a keto diet.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup erythritol
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the erythritol, salt, and vanilla extract to the melted chocolate and mix well.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the cocoa powder until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Dust with additional cocoa powder or serve with whipped cream if desired.
