- 2 pounds chicken pieces (legs, thighs, wings)
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine almond flour, parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and buttermilk.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then into the flour mixture, making sure to coat well.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 12-15 minutes per batch.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double dip the chicken in the egg and flour mixtures.
- Serve with a low-carb dipping sauce for added flavor.
