Description

A delicious low carb version of sweet and sour sauce perfect for various dishes.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar-free ketchup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sweetener (erythritol or similar)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and sweetener.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and sesame oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth, then add to the sauce.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, stirring frequently.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
