Description

A traditional Mexican grilled fish dish typically made with marinated fish and served with a tangy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole snapper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fish by cleaning and gutting it.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and adobo sauce to create a marinade.
  3. Marinate the fish for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Place the fish on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve garnished with lime slices and cilantro.

Notes

  • For best results, let the fish marinate longer if possible.
  • This dish pairs well with rice and beans.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less adobo sauce.
