Description

Delicious mini bites made with peanut butter and chocolate that are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, cocoa powder, honey (or agave syrup), melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly mixed.
  3. Prepare a mini muffin tin by lining it with paper liners or greasing it lightly.
  4. Fill each muffin cup about three-quarters full with the mixture.
  5. Transfer the muffin tin to the refrigerator and chill for at least one hour.
  6. Once set, carefully remove the bites from the tin and store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

  • For added crunch, mix in 1/4 cup of chopped nuts or seeds before filling the muffin tin.
  • Try using almond butter or sunflower seed butter as an alternative to peanut butter for different flavors.
