Description
A refreshing electrolyte broth infused with miso, ginger, and lemon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons miso paste
- 1 inch ginger, sliced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add ginger slices and cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the liquid.
- Mix the hot liquid with miso paste until dissolved.
- Add lemon juice and sea salt, stirring to combine.
- If desired, stir in honey or maple syrup.
- Serve warm or chilled.
Notes
- This broth can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Adjust the saltiness by adding more or less sea salt to taste.
