Description

Delicious and nutritious energy bars packed with mocha and almond flavors, perfect for a quick snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and chopped almonds.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the almond butter, honey, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and press down firmly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
