Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips, and stir until evenly distributed.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
