Ingredients

  • 2 large broccoli stems, peeled and cut into fry-shaped pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh lemon juice, for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli stem pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss until the stems are evenly coated.
  3. Spread the broccoli stems in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven and drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving.

Notes
