A delicious keto dessert featuring pecans, caramel, and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar substitute
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread pecan halves on the baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, butter, sugar substitute, and salt. Heat over medium until melted and combined.
- Simmer the mixture for 10-15 minutes until it thickens.
- Stir in vanilla extract and remove from heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the pecan mixture onto parchment paper.
- Pour the caramel mixture over each mound and let cool.
- Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled turtles.
- Allow to set before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Can substitute other nuts if desired.
- Optional: sprinkle with sea salt before the chocolate sets.
