Description

Delicious scallops served with a rich brown butter-sage foam that elevates the dish to a gourmet experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound scallops
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 fresh sage leaves
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add scallops to the pan and sear until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove scallops from the pan and keep warm.
  5. In the same pan, add remaining butter and sage leaves, cooking until the butter is browned.
  6. Remove sage leaves, then stir in the heavy cream, cooking until slightly thickened.
  7. Serve scallops drizzled with the brown butter-sage foam.
